Get ready. It’s that time of year again: the South Wedge Planning Committee (SWPC) is holding their annual meeting in the form of Wedgestock 2009 at the Highland Bowl (in Highland Park off of South Avenue) on Sunday, August 30th. Sound like a snoozefest? You must be new in town.

Wedgestock 2009 Cooking Contest

This year we, SWPC, are pleased to present Wedgestock’s first annual cooking contest! We are looking for the most delectable cookie and the most savory salsa the South Wedge has to offer. There will be three local chefs serving as judges for the contest: Philip Duquette of Premier Pastry, Casey Hollenbeck of Mise En Place, and Lindsay Steinberg of Green Zebra Catering.
