Photography Contest

We are looking for a few compelling pictures to be featured on the Grace Road Church web site (www.graceroadchurch.org).

Grab your camera, your tripod, a friend, a sandwich, and take a journey through the south wedge and create some compelling photographs.

Winning images will be featured on the front page of the new Grace Road Website (to be launched August 15th). The front page image should be something that has to do with Grace Road’s location; such as The German House (315 Gregory Street) building, the south wedge, or downtown Rochester. The orientation of the front page image should be landscape, so shoot accordingly.

Runner up images will be included on the rest of the pages of the website. These can include pictures of the Rochester cityscape, roads, etc. Anything that would make an interesting urban photograph (portrait or landscape orientation).

Be creative. Be artistic. Take close-up shots, use extreme angles, get up high, get down low, tilt your camera.

Please make sure you do not include any signage in your photographs of stores or restaurants as these are copyrighted.

All images are due by August 8th. Email all entries to knichols@cefmagic.com and include your name, email, and phone number. If you choose to do any Photoshop work on your image, you may enter that, but please submit the original as well. Winners will be notified by August 11th.

Sounds excellent. Just to clarify though - the photographer maintains his/her copyright for all submitted images? I'm OK with granting use of images, but am not interested in forfeiting my copyright.
