My first home!

About Me:

I just bought my first house in the Wedge after renting in this area as well. I've been fixing it up over the last two years, and it's been a lot of work, but it's the cutest little house! I still need to do some major landscaping, so I've been working on the backyard this summer (in between heavy rains).

I'm a special education teacher, and I love my job. I also love: my Netflix :), reading, gardening, hitting up the Cinema, and seeing live music. I'm addicted to coffee, and my Vegetarian Times subscription, although I'm not technically a vegetarian anymore. (I just can't give up the great recipes.)

Technically I'm in the Highland Park Neighborhood Association, and I'm not REALLY in the realm of the Wedge on those cool tee-shirts that are sold at Thread, BUT I don't see how my little 'ole street can't be considered the Wedge. I'm a stone-throw from Tap and Mallet and all the other great businesses, so here I am, invading southwedge.org.
