cameras catch crime

I get into a lot of arguments with friends about the use of cameras in public places. Many people feel it is an invasion of privacy... I however feel that there is no right to privacy while in a public place. With such a view I think ROC could attract national / global media attention if it made crime a priority and started using technology to catch felons.
