yea, this city needs some work - if we could use cutting edge technology to reduce crime, we could make a name for ROC and maybe even get people to move here, instead of the exodus that has been for the past ____ decades.

I thought I would respond to part of your last post:

I wanted to invite you to our next Housing and structures committee meeting. They are only held every other month and the next one is Sept 1st at 5:30 at the SWPC office on Mt Hope. Anyone can come, they aren't restricted to board members in fact we would encourage other people to join.

Right now the housing committee has just been restructured. We are beginning to (again, as we have in the past) work with the City of Rochester, and city code enforcement etc. to see what can be done with problem properties. We also have other goals and objectives that we have not yet addressed (increase homeownership, reduce forclosures, etc etc etc). If you are interested you should come join us. We need all the new ideas that we can get.

Hillary says she'll garnish your wages!

Today Hillary Clinton said with her health insurance proposal she would be willing to garnish workers' paychecks if they refused to buy
health insurance. Last I checked, the reason I don't have health insurance isn't because I REFUSE to get it!
