OUR GOAL AT ROCHESTER COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE IS TO MAKE
acupuncture accessible to everyone, and provide health care that empowers patients, builds community and breaks down class divisions. Community acupuncture is different from the model that is predominantly used in the US, where a treatment costs between $65 and $100, and is done weekly, bi-monthly or monthly in a private treatment room. Community acupuncture consists of several people receiving personalized, one-on-one treatments simultaneously in a quiet, shared space. Community acupuncture is done on a sliding scale of $15 to $35 (you decide what you can afford) and is similar to the model practiced in China.

We want you to come often enough to really be able to get better and stay better, and the sliding scale is our way of helping you make that commitment.

ACUPUNCTURE IS ONE OF THE OLDEST, MOST COMMONLY USED SYSTEMS OF healing in the world. Acupuncture is simple, safe, and sustainable health care. As acupuncture has moved more toward the mainstream in America, it has become prohibitively expensive for most people, but we believe acupuncture does not need to be expensive to be effective. The community acupuncture model makes this possible.
